The Karawanks are a wild, natural 100 km long border mountain range, which is hardly developed for tourism. Anyone looking for the seclusion of nature will find new adventures here every day. An Eldorado for climbers like Thomas Brandauer and Gerald Sagmeister, who 35 years later dare to repeat their first ascent on the Koschuta Tower. Niki Sagmeister and Mona Salmina return to Carinthia after their studies in Innsbruck and embark on a journey of discovery through the mountains of their homeland. Mountain hiking, alpine multi-rope tours, trail running from Slovenia to Carinthia, mountain biking underground in the former Petzen mine tunnels, canyoning in the Tscheppa Gorge and above all the untouched and scenic diversity show what an alpine jewel there is in southern Carinthia.
