On July 22, 2018, Polish ski mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel made history. He scales K2 solo and without supplemental oxygen. But that’s not all: just a few minutes after reaching the 8,611 meter high summit, he gets on his skis and skis down into the valley. No one has ever done that before him! The first complete descent from K2 on skis! A dream comes true for the 30-year-old.
